What customers say?

“ I think I've found the best café in the neighborhood Located on the second floor, the atmosphere is calm, cozy, and warm. I enjoyed a delicious strawberry tart with tea, while chatting with a charming couple of regulars and the manager, who was very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this place if you're passing through, for afternoon tea or lunch! ”

“ A cafe like an oasis in Gokokuji. I came across this cafe on a Saturday afternoon, looking for a place to take shelter from the rain and rest after completing the Pokémon stamp rally with my daughter. The spacious space was a welcome relief, allowing us to refresh ourselves. I ordered a delicious iced coffee and tiramisu. The iced coffee was about as generous as Komeda's, so it felt like a great deal. The tiramisu was also a perfect match with the coffee. The other cakes were also authentic and looked delicious. The staff were kind, and it was great to be able to take a good rest with my daughter! I'll definitely visit again. ”

“ I've been here several times, and every meal plate is delicious, and the sweets made by pastry chef Takako are to die for! My favorites are the lemon cake, tart, tiramisu, cheesecake, and canelés, but all of the sweets are truly delicious. The owner's personality is reflected in the atmosphere of the cafe, and it is a very warm and relaxing cafe. The furniture and decorations are also lovely. It's a place you'll want to return to again and again. ”

“ This was my second visit. A rare find in the Gokokuji area, this hidden cafe has a pastry chef on-site. Enjoy exquisite, carefully crafted sweets. They also have a lunch menu, and I couldn't forget the exquisitely prepared quiche plate I ordered last time... After much deliberation, I decided on the vegan curry plate, which I'd been interested in for a while. As you'd expect from an authentic curry made from spices, the chickpeas are fragrant! It's spicy yet mild and gentle. Of course, we followed the meal with the pastry chef's desserts. I ordered the new peach tart and the ripe blueberry crumble cheesecake. The melt-in-your-mouth dessert was truly blissful. It pairs perfectly with dark-roasted iced coffee. When I told my friend I wanted to share, they cut each plate in half, doubling the deliciousness with their thoughtful touch! The owner and staff are incredibly welcoming, and the antique-style furniture is lovely, creating a cozy atmosphere. I'm so happy to hear they'll be opening more weekday lunches in the future! ^ ^ I'll definitely come again! ”

“ If i could give it a better grade i would. Visited with my wife for a quick coffee and snack. Great atmosphere, the host was so nice and welcoming. the coffee and sweets really good! Absolutely recommended. 10/10 ”

“ It's a short walk from Exit 6 of Gokokuji Station. It's located at the back of the second floor, above Mensho. Lots of flowers. Lots of books! It was a cute, stylish cafe with a calm antique feel. I ordered a dessert plate. My favorite canelés were freshly baked! The chocolate choux was also crispy. The tart had a luxurious buttery scent. It was the first time I've had a pudding where I could see the vanilla beans Macaroons... The strawberry cake was also a gentle sweetness that wasn't sticky and had a hint of egg! Both the coffee and the sweets had a fresh aroma. I was able to spend a happy time with all five senses It seems that you can take away the sweets in the showcase They serve lunch until 5pm, so next time I'd like to enjoy lunch as well ”

“ The prices are a little on the pricier side, but the clientele is good and it's not crowded, so it's a relaxing cafe. Cakes are 750 yen and drinks are around 750 yen, with one drink included. The tiramisu was delicious and the size was just right. The cafe latte was also generous and very satisfying. The orange shortcake had a strong orange flavor even in the cream, giving the impression that it was made with great care. There is a ramen shop on the first floor that is one of Japan's top 100 restaurants. ”

“ I visited this place after being recommended by an editor from Kodansha. Even though I went there around 3pm on a weekday, the store wasn't crowded and it was quiet and had a relaxing atmosphere. There are a lot of noisy chain stores around here, so this seems like a great place to concentrate on work. Also, the tart that I ordered because it looked so pretty was delicious! I don't really like fresh cream, but the yogurt-like sour cream and the generous amount of cherries left a refreshing aftertaste and I ate the whole thing in one go. The pie crust was also delicious! ”
